How has AMCA been involved in servant leadership development?

Products

In 1976, Dr. Ann McGee-Cooper began a Partnership with TDIndustries to develop servant-leaders at all levels of the organization. For ten years, she worked closely with Bob Greenleaf to better understand his work. Twenty-eight years later, TD has been honored by Fortune magazine as one of the top ten "100 Best Companies to Work For" for six years running. AMCA has also served on Southwest Airlines' Culture Committee since early 1990. Southwest continues to outperform its competitors by hiring for attitude, creating a fun, creative, Employee-empowered work environment, and relentlessly improving their processes and Customer Service through a culture of servant leadership.
In 1999, AMCA collaborated with TDIndustries to form the Servant Leadership Learning Community to help other organizations to grow "leaderful" cultures. Members include Southwest Airlines, Parkland Hospital, Carrollton Police Department, TXU Communications, lauckgroup, Tempo Mechanical Services, Celebration Restaurant and Bill Priest Institute for Economic Development. AMCA shares learning from this consortium annually at the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership Conference, the Pegasus "System's Thinking in Action" Conference, and the SoL (Society for Organizational Learning)
