Servant Leadership
and Team Intelligence

One of the distinguishing characteristics of servant leadership is the realization that others have wisdom and insights that can add value to the leader's perspectives and decisions. The servant-leader believes that "together we can create something much better than either one of us could have created alone." In this module participants will have the opportunity to experience an activity demonstrating this type of 'synergy.' (Approx. 90 min.)

GOALS
1. To define team intelligence and understand the link to servant leadership. 2. To debrief the process and learn where team intelligence is at risk in your organization.

The Facilitator will need to provide the following for this module:
  • Materials to write on (board or flip chart).
  • Participant booklets.
  • " You will need to purchase some objects from a hardware store and create a "Synergy Box." (See instructions that follow.)
